ACTIONS IN WHICH MODIP PARTICIPATES
Below you can find actions in which the members of MODIP participate, such as mobility actions in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, workshops, conferences or other events organised by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), by Quality Assurance Offices (MODIP) of other Greek institutions or by other organisations.

D.U.TH.’s Quality Assurance Service participates in internationalization activities
1-4 October 2024
D.U.Th.’s Quality Assurance Service, represented by our staff member Eleftherios Apostolidis, participated in the 7th InterUni Forum for Internationalization at Akademia WSB in Poland. The forum focused on the theme: “Quality of Education Through Empowering Internationalization – Inclusion, Skills, Technology.”
The event was attended by university students, employees, experts in the field, and representatives from domestic and foreign partner universities.
It included an introduction to the dynamic teaching approach known as “Challenge-Based Learning” (CBL). CBL is a student-centered teaching method where students collaborate to solve real-world challenges, making education more interactive and relevant. Through hands-on workshops and expert-led discussions, participants gained insights into how CBL can transform learning, enhance problem-solving skills, and prepare students for global challenges.
Additionally, there was an introductory presentation of the “VR4Skills” project. This presentation showcased the use of virtual reality in education, particularly in developing leadership skills and addressing skills gaps in international contexts. By adopting an innovative approach to training and education, VR4Skills offered immersive educational experiences that simulated real-world scenarios, enhancing critical thinking in decision-making for both educators and learners. The project underscored the role of technology in modernizing skills development for future global leaders.
Our representative was received by Akademia WSB at official events, including the institution’s Senatorial ceremony for the Academic Year Inauguration.
During the margins of the forum, there was an opportunity for networking between our service and the respective service of the hosting institution. This facilitated an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest. Furthermore, a declaration of intention was made to pursue future inter-institutional collaborations within the context of internationalization efforts.
Lastly, participation in Akademia WSB’s 7th InterUni Forum for Internationalization provided a platform for informal dialogue among participants. Discussions focused on curriculum development for global competencies and the integration of digital technologies within the global education context.
