1. External evaluation of D.U.Th – academic year 1996-1997

The Democritus University of Thrace was the first Greek university to participate in a comprehensive evaluation program by an international organization of undeniable prestige (the C.R.E. now E.U.A.) in the academic year 1996-97.

D.U.Th was the only Greek university that participated in the program. It is a process designed entirely by the C.R.E. and included both an internal evaluation and an external evaluation by a committee of independent foreign experts, which, after two on-site visits to the three cities (Xanthi, Komotini, Alexandroupolis), resulted in the final Evaluation Report (June 1997).

2. External Evaluation of D.U.Th – academic year 2015-2016

The evaluation process of the Democritus University of Thrace took place during the week from Monday 30.11.2015 until Friday 4.12.2015 by a five-member committee of distinguished scientists from foreign Universities selected by the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA/ADIP).
