The accreditation of the Internal Quality Assurance System of D.U.Th, was carried out by Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency in Higher Education (now HAHE) and was an external evaluation process, based on specific, predetermined, internationally accepted and pre- published, quantitative and qualitative criteria and indicators, harmonized with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Charter of Higher Education. (E.H.E.A).

According to HQA (now HAHE) planning, the accreditation process was carried out from 12 to 18 November 2018 by a five-member committee. The members o MODIP in collaboration with the executives of HQA (now HAHE) and the Institution’s Senior Managers, supervised the organization of the visit of the Accreditation Committee’s members. More specifically, they supervised the drafting and observance of their on-site visit programme and they expressly provided further details and answers to questions asked by the members of the Accreditation Committee during their stay in Komotini.
