On Thursday, February 12, 2026, the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) of Democritus University of Thrace, in collaboration with the Teaching and Learning Center (KEDIMA) of DUTH, is organizing a symposium in Alexandroupolis (Grecotel Egnatia Hotel, 11:00 – 16:30) on “Challenges and prospects for universities on the occasion of UNESCO’s landmark volume on the future of education: Learning outcomes and skills”. The symposium focuses on the role of Higher Education Institutions in an ever-changing educational and socio-economic environment, drawing on the conclusions of the UNESCO Report on Education in 2050, the Greek edition of which has been edited and funded by INE GSEE, under the auspices of the Greek National Commission for UNESCO.
